Chung Cheng Intellectual Property

Taiwan IP Counsel

Your IP counsel
in Taiwan.

Chung Cheng is a Taiwan intellectual property firm. We act as the local counsel foreign firms and rights holders rely on to get matters done in Taiwan — patent and trademark prosecution, trade secret and copyright protection, corporate IP, and litigation before the Intellectual Property and Commercial Court (IPC Court). Where a filing agent stops at the application, we bring the examination depth, judicial experience, and English-language working practice that decide whether your rights actually hold in Taiwan.

Why local Taiwan counsel

Taiwan depth, beyond the filing.

Foreign firms do not need another filing agent in Taiwan — they need counsel who can carry a matter through Taiwan's own standards. A trademark registrable elsewhere may be refused in Taiwan on distinctiveness; a Taiwan patent claim survives or fails on how its examination and amendment practice is handled; an IP dispute turns on the technical examination procedure of a specialist court. That is the work we do.

We are built to be the Taiwan end of your matter: filings prosecuted to Taiwan examination standards, disputes argued by counsel with first-hand judicial experience, and every step run in English with foreign counsel. Where it helps you decide how to file in Taiwan, we will also map how Taiwan differs from CNIPA and other neighboring offices — not to sell a multi-jurisdiction strategy, but so your Taiwan rights are built to hold.
