How we handle the information you send us

What we collect

We collect two kinds of information.

• Information you give us. The inquiry form on the Contact page asks for your name, your email address, your company or organization (optional), and a description of your matter. If you email or call us instead, we receive whatever you choose to include.
• Technical information sent with a form submission. When you submit the form, the IP address it was sent from and the time of submission are recorded with your inquiry. We use them to screen out automated submissions and to limit repeated ones.

Please do not send personal information that is not needed to describe your matter.

How we use it

• To reply to your inquiry and to decide whether we can act for you.
• If you engage us, to carry out the work you instruct, which includes filing the necessary details with the relevant offices and courts.

We do not sell this information, and we will not send you marketing messages unless you have asked for them.

Where it goes

We are based in Taiwan, and inquiries are read and handled here. The systems involved in running these pages are:

• The inquiry form. Submissions go to the server that runs this website’s content-management system (cms.cc-collab.com.tw). It keeps a record of the inquiry and forwards a copy to our office by email.
• Cloudflare. Cloudflare delivers this website and, in doing so, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of each request. The Contact page also loads Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a script; the result is verified with Cloudflare together with the IP address the submission came from.

Our office email is likewise run on a third-party cloud service. The providers behind these systems may process data on servers outside Taiwan.

Cookies and tracking

We do not set cookies on these pages, and we do not load analytics, advertising, or social-media scripts on them. Cloudflare Turnstile is a third-party service and operates under its provider’s own privacy terms.

The Chinese-language pages of this site do use Google Analytics, which stores cookies for the cc-collab.com.tw domain. If you have visited those pages, the cookies stay in your browser while you read the English pages; the English pages do not read them and send nothing to Google Analytics.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry information for as long as it is needed to reply and, if you engage us, to handle the matter — or until you ask us to delete it. Files for matters we have been engaged on are kept for the periods that Taiwan law and professional rules require.

Access, correction, and deletion

You may ask us what information we hold from your inquiry, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop using it. These rights are set out in Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act. Write to info@cc-collab.com.tw from the email address you used, so that we can match the request to your inquiry.

We will act on the request once we have verified it. If we are required to keep something — for example, the file of a matter you engaged us on — we will tell you why.

Changes to this notice

When this notice changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
